Patricia "Patty" Ann (Robinson) Chick

Patricia Ann Chick (Robinson) was born on November 27, 1946, and went home to Jesus on Monday, August 7, 2023, at 76 years of age. To know Patty was to love her, she brought a light into every room she entered, she would meet you with the warmest hugs, and the sweetest kisses. She was an extraordinary woman, who lived her life fearlessly. She was radiant, beautiful, and the most caring person. She led her family to God and loved with her entire heart. Patty grew up in Marion, IL and was a graduate of the MHS Class of 1964. Patty spent many years working at Western Sizzlin Steak House where she was loved by many. Patty met her loving husband Richard Chick and they married on December 18, 1976, at Second Baptist Church in Marion, IL, together they shared 47 years of marriage, 4 children, 10 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.  Patty loved her family unconditionally, when you saw her, she would always have a smile on her face no matter how she was feeling. She loved to listen to worship music, dance when she could, and spend time with her family. She loved watching her family grow up, attending all of their sports games and extracurricular activities, she was everyone’s biggest fan. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her father Don Robinson, her mother Helen Adkins, and her great granddaughter Mila Moss.

She is survived by her husband Richard Chick of Marion, her sister Gayla Hendricks and her 2 children of Alabama, her daughter and son in law Christal and Marc Killman of Crab Orchard, her daughter and son in law Misty and Joshua Price of Marion, her son and daughter in law Kevin and Kelli Brown of Mount Vernon, and her step daughter and son in law Stacy and Daniel Esparza of Texas. Her Grandchildren, Kisten and John Anderson, Marissa and Nicholas Moss, Kolten and Jace Chick, Sydney Brown, Caroline Chick, Zachary, Chloe, Sophie, and Natalie Esparza. Her Great Grand Children Khasen, Kaydence, Karver Anderson, Jaxon and Keaton Moss, and Greyson Davis. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Binkley-Ross Funeral Home located at 1702 West Boulevard Street Marion, IL 62959. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., with pastors Keith Youkin and R.G. Walls officiating.  Interment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Marion. In lieu of customary remembrances the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the funeral home to assist with the costs of final arrangements.
