Maverick Taylor

Maverick, a Labrador Retriever, passed away in a tragic accident at home on October 11, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 3, 2017.  He is survived by his best friend, Brock Baker, Kendall Baker, Reilly Horning and Rich and Rhonda Taylor.  He is also survived by his sister dog, Jacket and 7 cat siblings, Champy, Charlotte, Sailor, William, Harley, Milo, and Sparkle Butt.  He was the best big brother to his tribe.  When Maverick was just six months old, he was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia.  After going through major hip surgery at such a young age, his family was determined to give him the best life, not knowing how long they would have with him.  No amount of time with Maverick will ever be enough.  Maverick enjoyed eating everything, booty scratches, aggravating Jacket, and laying around being so patient while all the cats loved on him.  His person was Brock. He was always sad when Brock wasn't home, and so excited when he would see him pull into the driveway.  He loved car rides with just the two of them.  He was his constant companion, and such a loyal, gentle soul.

Maverick was like a bull in a China shop, he did not know his size and was the last dog you would choose to be a guard dog.  He was loved by everyone he came into contact with, and he loved them just as much.

Our hearts are forever broken and there will never be another dog that measures up to the love we have for our Mooster.  Go run and be pain free Mavy.
