Louis Robert Panozzo

         Louis Robert Panozzo, 66, of Marion, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Heartland Regional Medical Center.  Louis was born on June 29, 1956, in Chicago, Illinois.  He was the son of Louis and Patricia (Hendee) Panozzo.  Louie was raised in the Grand and Ogden neighborhood of Chicago.

Louis is survived by his only daughter, Jessica Palumbo; two granddaughters, Isabella and Francesca; his brother, Robert Panozzo; his fiancé of five years, Charlotte Elder and her children, Devina (Dakota), Kalvin; and grandson, Oakley; and his lab/chow companion, Oliver.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He worked as an over the road truck driver for six years with Southern Illinois Motor Xpress and later transitioned into owner/operator of LCK Trucking in December of 2021.  He believed in “Living life on life’s terms.” He enjoyed drinking coffee and smoking Pall Malls.

Binkley-Ross Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist with arrangements.  Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 PM at Marion First Church of the Nazarene located at 809 West White Street, Marion, Illinois 62959.
